Moorhouse wins best ‘Claims Service of the Year’ at Insurance Age Awards 2005
Moorhouse Group was awarded the ‘Claims Service of the Year’ at the prestigious Insurance Age Awards held on 16th September 2005.
This award was in recognition of the efforts of the team headed by Wendy Johnston (Claims Manager) to bring all the claims handling processes in-house from a third party so that customers could benefit from a more reliable and prompt service.
Wendy’s team created a diary system that enabled a proactive service to customers so that they are promptly contacted and updated on the status of their claims application thereby alleviating the anxious waiting times or the need for customers having to call in for an update.
The focus of the new processes set in place by the claims team was to make it as easy and trouble-free for Moorhouse Group’s customers to have their claims application(s) resolved in the shortest possible time.
